Savannah Ya'll...

On the way down to Savannah GA. Looking forward to seeing the old houses and tasting some great food. Looking for southern hospitality then this is your place.

Need a place to stay well Savannah is loaded with hotels, motels, B&B's and you can even stay at some of the old houses in the historic district as a vacation rental.

When you sight see in Savannah then be sure to take one of the open air trolleys. We liked the Old Town Trolley Tour. The drivers give you a detail of each block you go down and its not just a recording so ask lots of questions. With your ticket on the trolley you can jump on and off as much as you like they have 15 or more stops at all the hot spots in Savannah. Be sure to see the pirates house. It is now a restaurant and they have an incredible lunch if i must say so myself. You should call ahead of time and make reservations because they fill up fast. Another nice hot spot is River Street. This area is full of century old cotton warehouses that have been restored and turned into restaurants, candy shops, bars, and retail shops. If you have had enough shopping and walking then take a seat on the rivers edge and watch the huge boats some into one of Americas largest ports. No matter what you enjoy Savannah has it for you.

We went down for one day took the trolley and saw all the hot spots of Savannah. We had a great time as a family during this trip.
